Course Outline: During the course you will start from scratch with the basics and we will introduce you to key postures and sequences over the course of the six weeks. The classes will help you get the best out of your practice. As well as the in-person classes you will also have complimentary access to our online beginners course which includes a series of tutorials which you can follow in the comfort of your own home.
The course also includes meditation and breathing exercises and these short sessions will provide techniques for you to find stillness and achieve a calmer and less reactive state. Learning how meditation and mindfulness can help to ease anxiety and enable you to better deal with the stresses and strains of modern life.
By the end you should have the confidence to join our regular class programme and most important, come away with a positive experience of practicing yoga and appreciate how it can assist you in achieving a fitter, more flexible and happier you! Our beginner’s course will held in our open plan unheated Studio – the Lotus lounge and you will have access to a variety of props – you don’t even need to bring your own yoga mat if you don’t own one!
The in-studio sessions take place on Tuesdays at 6.30pm.
The cost of this course is just £80 and on completion you will still be able to take advantage of our intro offer – £30 for 10 classes so you can try out the other classes – both heated and unheated – including Aerial which we offer.
The course isn’t in our heated studio so you don’t need to worry about stripping off – just wear leggings and a comfortable sports top (and a long sleeved top also useful as an extra layer for when we are in relaxation and not moving)
