Inferno Hot Pilates
Imported from the US, Inferno Hot Pilates (Inferno Hot HIIT) is a fun and challenging, full body, low impact workout using Pilates principles and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). It combines cardio and muscle toning in a heated room and is performed on a yoga mat and towel.
HIIT keeps your heart rate up, helping burn fat and calories, and increase fitness levels without the pounding of a high-impact workout. Hot Lotus was the first studio to offer Inferno Hot Pilates in the UK and classes in the heated dome have proved highly popular and there is often a waiting list. We are really excited have this class in the new Hot Lotus studio – we offer many more classes, so there is no need to miss out.
You’ll notice how quickly you’ll improve within just a few short sessions! The fun yet challenging session feels like it’s over in the blink of an eye, but you’ll know you’ve just done something amazing for your body and mind and will soon feel muscles developing and your body toning beautifully!
This dynamic workout is designed specifically for the hot room and done to a motivating, energetic music soundtrack designed to lift you to new levels! Be prepared to work up a serious sweat and expect to burn 600-1000 calories in one session.
Who will benefit from Inferno Hot Pilates?
This class is taught as either a 45 express class or a 60 minute class and is designed for ALL fitness levels – beginners are welcome. Anyone who wants to raise their metabolism, burn fat, strengthen and tone muscles and improve core stability and posture.

Barre Pilates has been renamed (previously known as Body Blitz) we renamed it and it is exactly as per the description a hybrid blend of barre and Pilates.
This class is dedicated to strengthening the core and toning and firming the abs (our glamour muscles) and also firming the upper body as well toning and firming the legs, bum and tum.
The class will include an element of barre and floor work and will focus heavily on very small isometric moves which will challenge your muscles (and muscles you never knew you had!) like they have never been challenged before.
The class involves challenging the core muscles through a variety of Pilates exercises and planks creating a stronger framework, to improve your posture and giving you abs to be proud of! At the same time you will strengthen your upper body bringing definition and tone to your arms – goodbye bingo wings!
You can expect to shake a lot! Shaking is a sign that you are challenging the muscles you want to target. The more you notice this shaking sensation the more calories you will burn and because the exercises target the powerhouse muscles of the body – the glutes – not only will you work on toning to create the shape you are after but you will raise the metabolism and in doing switch your body to fat burning.
Like all exercise you’ll also feel amazing afterwards as all those lovely endorphins will be released leaving you feeling happy (if a little wobbly!) and ready to take on the rest of your day.
This class is a great complement to our other classes, particularly if you are keen to strengthen your core and get stronger and leaner. Expect a flatter tum and a pert bum with regular practice (and of course a healthy diet).
