Health and fitness have always been a big part of my life. For many years, I ran regularly and trained with high-impact strength and conditioning workouts. However, in my early 40s, ongoing hip issues forced me to stop. Losing that outlet had a real impact on both my physical and mental wellbeing, and I had to find a new way forward.

Everything changed when I discovered Bikram Yoga. Practising hot yoga gave me the same sense of challenge and intensity I had always loved, but without putting strain on my body. I quickly became hooked on the hot room and the powerful combination of physical effort and mental focus it brings.

In 2020, I underwent a hip replacement. As soon as I was able, I returned to my hot yoga practice. Through consistency and the therapeutic benefits of Bikram Yoga, I rebuilt my strength, mobility, and confidence. That experience strengthened my belief in how transformative this practice can be.

Having practised regularly since 2010, I chose to deepen my knowledge further. In 2025, I travelled to Thailand to complete an intensive 500-hour Bikram Yoga teacher training programme. This allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the practice and how to support others on their own journeys.

I now teach hot yoga at Hot Lotus in Stockport, supporting students of all levels. My aim is to help you build strength, improve flexibility, and develop resilience—both physically and mentally. Whether you are new to hot yoga or returning after a break, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
